✅ Post-Registration Checklist for SLVC Families

Once you've registered your athlete for the upcoming season, there are a few important next steps to complete and key information to review. Please read through the following carefully to ensure a smooth start to the season.

📱 TeamSnap Setup

Download the TeamSnap App
All registered families will receive an invitation to join their athlete’s team via the email used during registration.

  • Accept the invitation to activate your account.
  • If prompted for payment, click “bypass” or “cancel.” No additional payment is required at this step.

Add Parents/Guardians to TeamSnap
To give another parent/guardian or your athlete access to TeamSnap (for team chat, emails, etc.):

  1. Click on your athlete’s name in the app.
  2. Select “Add Family Member” and enter the requested information.
  3. This feature is intended for parents, guardians, and players only.

📣 Club Communication

All official club communication will take place through TeamSnap chat.
Please avoid creating side group chats or using personal messaging apps unless it’s an emergency. Centralized communication helps keep everyone informed and aligned.

🏐 Link Your AAU Membership

All athletes must have a current AAU membership linked to Salt Lake Volleyball Club (SLVC).

  • Visit https://play.aausports.org to purchase or renew.
  • Select “Salt Lake Volleyball Club” as your club affiliation.
  • Upload your athlete’s AAU membership card to TeamSnap under their profile.

This step is required before participating in AAU-sanctioned events.

👕 Uniform Ordering

Uniform ordering details can be found [HERE].
All orders must be submitted by Monday, November 24th.

  • Access sizing guides, package details, and ordering instructions on the page.

💳 Season Dues & Payments

If you’ve opted to pay by check, please contact Kiera Powers directly.

Important Notes:

  • Season dues follow a structured payment plan (not monthly).
  • Staying current on payments is essential—late payments may result in limited participation.
  • Transactions will appear as Salt Lake Volleyball or Powers Pack, LLC.
  • Season dues that cannot be processed on the due date (7th of each month), will incur a $25 reprocessing fee.
  • Canceling a scheduled payment will incur a $50 reprocessing fee.

🏐 Playing Time & Team Structure

SLVC keeps team rosters intentionally small to maximize playing time.
Please note that equal playing time is not guaranteed. Coaches make decisions based on:

  • Effort
  • Attitude
  • Performance
  • Team needs

We believe in Player Empowerment.

If questions or concerns arise:

  1. Athletes are encouraged to speak directly with their coach before or after practice.
  2. Parents may join these conversations, but initial communication should come from the athlete.
  3. If concerns remain unresolved, please contact Kiera Powers for support.
